GUEST SPEAKING

Guest-speaking is a way for teams, organizations, & communities to provide a thought-provoking presentation or session on intersectionality, diversity, inclusion, or equity topics. We have experience speaking on a variety of subjects & are available to speak in-person & virtually on panels, at conferences, on webinars, & at events.


TRAINING & WORKSHOP DESIGN & DELIVERY

Training is a productive way to teach a team new cultural information, concepts, & materials. Our methods vary depending on the context & the content, but we always ensure that they are relevant, meaningful, & engaging. Workshops are like a training-plus, with more time for exercises, dialogues, & action-planning. We can provide these on a one-off basis, but we prefer to partner with you to integrate these sessions into a more comprehensive cultural learning or change program.


CONSULTING

Consulting is a partnership where we work with stakeholders to correctly identify cultural challenges, propose solutions, & follow-up to check on their progress. It always includes critical conversations, & depending on the nature of the problem, may also involve assessments, focus groups, facilitations, workshops, trainings, & change management support.


COACHING

Coaching is a powerful way for individuals to build cultural competence. It provides an opportunity to start where you are, share personal concerns, get one-on-one private feedback, & evolve into the culturally savvy & effective person you want to become. We start with an initial consultation, identify challenges & goals, ask reflection questions designed to illicit insights, provide advice, assign practice assignments, & schedule regular check-ins over the medium or long-term. We offer this service to people at all levels, from students & young professionals to community leaders & executives.


FACILITATION

Facilitation provides a guided forum for organizations & communities to participate in dialogue, find common ground, & work toward conflict resolution. It is also a way to engage in cross-cultural brainstorming, reflection, & planning. We are skilled at remaining objective, asking the right questions at the right time, & supporting groups through the maze of challenging yet productive, inspiring, & empowering conversation.


GLOBAL INTERSECTIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Global Intersectional leadership development is a way for organizations to build their talent pipelines. For those who are repatriating, we also offer re-entry training & coaching. Assessments & inventories help us determine our clients' baseline of global skills, cultural competence, & preparedness for managing change. We use these as a jumping-off point to get a sense for where you are, to engage in conversation with you about your goals & pain points, & to ensure that the package of services we design are tailored just for you.


RESOURCE GROUPS

Resource groups allow us to talk to your employees, team members, or residents, & get their perspectives before we design a program to teach them or help them. This is especially important in organizational or community change efforts, because you can't know what to work on, or how to work on it, if you don't first determine how people feel about the status quo & proposed shifts. It is distinct from facilitation in that it is an opportunity to gather information & viewpoints, rather than to engage in dialogue.
