There is now considerable scientific evidence for the idea that cognitive or deep diversity - that is, diversity in how people feel, think, and act - has significant benefits for organizations. Cognitive diversity can of course overlap with demographic (or surface) diversity, which organisations are working to seek, but the overlap is smaller than we think.
With our terrific speakers from L'Oreal, Nationale-Nederlanden, and AXA we will discuss ideas that focus on the different ways people behave and think, as well as on gender, nationality, and ethnicity. This is a moderated panel discussing issues concerning diversity in the workplace and our communities, followed by networking with some leading and accomplished business leaders from Madrid's Women in Business and LGBT communities.
