Mixed Race Women of Color Leaders

We are a learning, connection and support group for Women of Color who identify as Mixed Race. Our mission is to create spaces where Mixed Race Women of Color come together and support each other in learning to navigate the complexities of leading in a racially polarized society while holding identities that don’t neatly fit into the constructed mono-racial ones. Our foundational values are grounded in the work of social justice. Thus, we believe a core part of our work as Mixed Race Women of Color Leaders is to understand how to dismantle systems of oppression. To do this, we must be able to effectively navigate and manage the many complexities of dominance and oppression inherent in a racially constructed world.

This opportunity brings together Mixed Race Women of Color to engage in both the beautiful and painful ways our racialized identity impacts our lives. It serves as a time for us to simply “be” in community with each other in the complexities that exist in identifying as more than one yet often needing to choose only one. While we know deepening our Mixed-Race identity is a forever journey, we hope you will join us to learn, connect and support each other on it. Join us for a complimentary hour-long virtual learning and support Zoom call. We will share our stories and discuss potential topics for our upcoming 3-month series of learning, connection and support sessions. To register for one of these complimentary sessions, fill out the form below and let us know which session date you will be attending.
